Asda Loan Scam

  • Unfortunately they won't/can't tell you what rate they're offering until they've gone through the application process and credit checked you.

Emails aren't secure, therefore they can't disclose any personal information in them, such as the rate they're going to offer you. They showed you the rate on their website before you were committed to the loan, so not sure what the problem is. You still had the choice not to take them up on the offer.

How much of your time have they wasted? And no, I don't wear a lime fleece. A red tie though, and a grey suit.
  • Since ASDA's attempt to extract 19.9% from me I've managed to get 7.6 and then 6.2 elswhere. I guess it pays to shop around for loans then
  • were did you get the 7.6 and 6.2 from?

So valuable, you need a loan?
  • tinkerbell is your sarcasm gun set to stun?
  • Nope. Just interesting that the OP apparently has all this money (house, investments, huge salary, room for a pony etc) but is so desperate to get a loan too.

Using the word 'scam' in the title and admitting in the OP that it's not a scam is pretty lame. ;)
