I think somebody else asked this question earlier, but I can't see a reply yet so thought I would ask one of you experienced Bootsters for your advice as I am a newbie.

If you take an item ordered online back to a store without a receipt will they give you a refund in the form of a giftcard, or alternatively exchange for another item?

YYYaYYYY my neice had her baby this morning, its a girl, bin so excited as she didn't find out wot she was having, lots ov boots shopping on the way me thinks

If you don't have a receipt, the policy is to exchange for goods. Just occasionally you may be offered a gift card (this happened to me last week) - but this is actually NOT meant to happen!

I asked at the Dior counter at Meadowhall Sheffield if they had the above and was told that they were only available at Department stores eg Debenhams

I made the sa aware that i had already used the vouchers once.
sa was the same sa that had served me on several occasions over the weekend, when purchasing my ds nappies etc, when the store had run out of vouchers.
Being that she new who i was and that i hadn't received the vouchers i was due over the weekend, she allowed me to use them ( i spend way too much time in that store and have become quite friendly with some of the girls lol).
She informed me that they had been handing back vouchers to customers once they had used them, as long as they had spent £5.00 and were intitled to them.
didn't have time to write the whole senario yesterday lol.
