I would try a microfibre cloth wrung out in hot water. These cloths clean without the need for any chemicals so it wouldn't leave any other marks behind if it didn't work, Wipes could work though they might leave an oily mark on the fabric.
Lighter fuel, surgical spirit or isopropyl alcohol would probably remove the mark also, if you have any of those, these would work on an oily type stain.
