Local store had all the new mascara's this evening, but no GWP in sight although they had the stand ready but did not put them out. Used last 2 till spits (found in bottom of bag) with TD and 200 pointers. SA just said 'oh very clever' (cos both went through free with nothing else to hide it) - Mum who was on next till to me got told she couldn't use her 200 point voucher cos the item was free . Another SA decision rather than a Boots one.

Will start a stash of the new mag now incase of a glitch - did that with the last one as nothing when it first came out but turned out to be one of the best ones yet!!

Does anybody know if Collection 2000 will still be 342 tomorrow? And if so, has anyone used the Dazzle Me Dust, and what's it like?

I'm a bit rubbish at doing eye makeup but having been inspired by the likes of mrsbb and ikkle I'd like to try out some looks, and love all the colours of the Collection 200 stuff. I just want to know if it's really any good though!

I am no where near catching up - so i'll have to give up

Im sososoSO gutted... I dont want to say how many... but i have loads of facial skincare vouchers that are gonna just go to waste - as nothing was in stock and haven't been able to go to boots much.
And the sad thing is.. I only got to use about 5 of the vouchers.. and still have some left over no7 250 points coupons - only used 2 :(:(:(


Very very very gutted x

Ugh...

Popped into Cambridge Retail Park Boots tonight so Mr BTVB could sort out the JK nail file/nail buffer mix up - turns out some cheeky so and so (not the words I used at the time) had taken a JK nail file and a JK nail buffer and put the file in the buffer packet and vice versa - so presumably the real nail buffer got taken to the till in a nail file packet and so scanned as a nail file and not a buffer :mad:

Now I'm all for a bargain, but that's really taking the mickey!!!

Then I decided to grab a couple of No17 eyeshadows - new ones with textured surfaces - still signs up for the free eye dazzle, so grabbed one of these - didn't come up at till at being free so had to be overriden...then my AC got "broken" in the machine at the till - apparently I took the card out too soon - even though the SA told me to take it out, and I crashed the till system which in turn has done something funny to the chip in my card, which means I have to apply for a replacement card :rolleyes:

Just as well a) we are off to Cornwall for a week on Friday, and b) Mr BTVB has his own card so if there are any interesting offers in the ACM over the next month he can take advantage of them at least...

Most of the reduced perfumes from last week have been put up to full price again, and naff all in clearance.

LOVE the new No17 eyeshadows - the trios look especially funky No sign of new No7 mascara, but hopefully Mr BTVB will find one tomorrow (avec GWP ) 5x No7 till spits/pinkys to use before we go on holiday

I was looking @ no7 tonight, me and another woman were stood trying to look at the eyeshadow/eye pencil bit of the no7 stand, someone else was bobbing and weaving in front of us, picking up things and then holding them out to her right and sort of looking over her shoulder at them.... thus preventing us from even getting near the stuff as everytime we moved, she moved back the other way..... :mad:

SA was standing in front of a huge box with gold-y coloured mascaras which she was trying to hide (as best she could! :rotfl: ) don't know if that was the new mascara & gwp? Maybe she thought I would rugby tackle her to the ground and take it by force??? :rolleyes:

Eventually grabbed an eyeshadow set for DD xmas stocking (TOO old to believe in Santa :eek: but still "would like a stocking, mummy" )

Silly girl, Santa only comes to those who believe and go to sleep early on Xmas Eve :rolleyes:

Used the 250pts from the GWP, and a no 7 pinkie, SA says you can't use two vouchers together. I said "but it worked for my friend the other day" and she scanned it - and it worked :T (as I knew anyway! )

Get home and find that someone has used it and put the applicator back upside down so it looked unused :mad: No way can I give it as an Xmas pressie
now!
