hi orangelily. Thanks for the info re perfumes. Did you notice if they had any reduced toys yet? Also if they have any xmas stock out yet and any items under £5 for till spit.

Go into Boots in Cambridge City Centre with the bright idea of getting No7 for Men face wash and 2 x JK nail files. Cannot find nail files, run around like headless chicken, grab a couple of mags, go back to work.

Today

"Popped" into Boots for a "quick" shop, with a "short" list from Mrs BTVB.

Loaded my basket up and went to the self service till, scanned the first batch, which included 3 Mitchums with 1/2 price vouchers only for till to say I needed an override. SA informed me that i could only use 1 Mitchum voucher per transaction. My initial reaction was :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: The best laid plans, and all that. I was then dragged to a till, hauling a (rather full) basket begind me.

The result was:

I went into the tottenham court road (Oxford st) store and the Sedley Place store today and both still had the signs up. I didn't actually see the GWP or the bag, but the promo signs were still there. I will call em tomorrow morning if you want, and if they have them, will PM you and would be more than happy to go and get you some stuff.
