Need some help after been bamboozled by £49 admin fee takers. I have no credit history, never had CCard or Loan (but on electoral roll) and apparently this makes me the most unattractive loan option possible. I am in need of a short term £5k loan but have only been offered guarantor loans for £3k with rather shocking 45% apr. Earn £50k pa. My bank will not help. Is there any option for a better apr based on say my wage slips etc? Need to sort a-stat! Many thanks.

Hmm, you earn £50k but you are so blase or reckless with your money that you have not bothered or managed to put 4 or 5k aside??? Don't think I'd want to lend you anything, either
But you are right to avoid the admin fee scamsters.0 -
Very useful KimYeovil, very useful.0

Have your Bank given you a reason for declining a loan? I would have thought that they would be the best place to try as they can see your salary going in and will know your account history.

(Sorry, A-Stat, but it was rather stark. The usual methods of building your credit record are available but, of course, these would take longer than saving up the money. Why not start doing both now whilst continuing to look for the loan?)0
