I'm looking for a cheapish decent portable dvd for a xmas pressie. No idea what to look for and grateful for any help. I have seen them for about £80 in argos. Any better offers around or advice please?
Grateful thanks as always

Dear Destiny33
There are a couple of these threads wizzing about.
I'm no expert but am learning more as I search. One thing to watch out for is the screen. TV screens are measured diagonally so it's not as simple as a 5" screen being 1" smaller than a 6" screen.
The second is the aspect of the screen. if you watch a widescreen film on a 4:3 apect the picture will appear smaller.
Happy hunting.

we got 7inch screen goodmans make from tescos £89.99 and its a godsend, a 6 hour trip to glasgow went by without one are we there yet .. its fantastic and we all watched it at the hotel.. 2.5 hours battery time and car charger means you can still use it in the car... the screen size does make a difference especially if more than one person watching itThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
