so will solent of done a credit search or will that be done by beacon?
the only reason i ask is because we are 2 months behind on one of our loans and im worried this will effect things.

Solent will have done a credit search as soon as your application was submitted, and a further search is usually carried out just before the offer is issued.

Is the loan secured? If not it shouldnt cause a problem, UNLESS it goesto default, which it is likely to if you miss another payment if it hasnt already. You shouldnt stop paying something on the basis you think it might get cleared with impending mortgage funds.

the loan isnt secured.
we didnt stop paying it just because we didnt want to pay it anymore we have been struggleing since our mortgage payments went up by almost £300 a month no that is a lie we weres truggleing before this but had only missed one payment.
when the last payment was due we had to decide whether to pay a double payment on the loan to bring us up to date or use the money to pay for the valuation and booking fee.
we decided to risk it in the hope we would get the mortgage and be able to pay off the loan in full before it came to a default.
not the best idea i know but in our situation thought it was the best option for us.
