    Appeal to their better nature if it says that they can ask for the £250 from you FOR a little time to pay.
  • i guess the 'spare' (unclaimed d/d) money has been spent elsewhere..

    maybe its just me then our money is so tight that we notice every single penny going in and out :rolleyes:

    no not just you :rotfl: I noticed a few days ago when a debit card transaction was not enough, or when a cheque writtten was not cashed for 6 weeks. The money was alocated for it though and was still in account.
    TOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T
  • Thanks for all your input. It seems I shall ask my girlfriend to draft a letter, she's the solicitor after all, setting out the payment plan that's acceptable to me, and of course, acceptable to the Gym.
