Is that a technical cooking term?

It is, if you are a fan of the Pakistani chef, Bungdit Din. :D

Or in fact if you are "distressing (sp?)" your worktops as I have done on several occasions with frozen peas.. :rotfl:

Not very healthy or helpfull but yum!
  • FRIED CHEESE & ONION SANDWICH

This sandwich is so wrong in so many ways, but at half past eleven on a Friday night, drunk and hungry, it really hits the spot!

    Serves 1

    INGREDIENTS

    ½ an onion
    2 slices of Cheddar cheese
    2 slices of white bread
    Butter or low fat spread
    2 tablespoons of sunflower oil

    METHOD

Peel the onion, cut it in half, cut one half into slices and save the other half.

Make a cheese & onion sandwich.

Put the oil into a frying pan on a medium heat. Add the sandwich and fry it, turning it once, until the cheese starts to melt.

    ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES

Serve with [STRIKE]a green salad[/STRIKE] brown sauce or tomato ketchup.

The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
