in It's gone, but was it any good?
Just been to Staples and picked up a Fujitsu Siemens Li2735 15.4" Super TFT Screen Laptop with Core 2 Duo processor, 2gb Ram 160GB HD & DVD Rewriter for only £197.00! They also had an HP G6090Ea 15.4" Super TFT Laptop with 1GB Ram 120gb HD Athlon x2 Dual Core with Built In Webcam and DVD Rewriter for the same price.

    It was from Colchester Staples and the box says Processor Core 2 Duo T5550
    and a sticker on the laptop says "Centrino Duo"

    Yes, I'm sure it was in store only. Best to ask at the customer services desk. I think they can check other stores in the local area.

    I thought it was too good to be true. No sign of the Fujitsu Siemens at that price near me!

    Wife rang Bolton store to price-check. £197 as the OP said. They have promised to put one aside until I can get down later.

    none of these in wales .. as i just rang store and the manager said it wasent this model it was a model of much lower spec ,, so im guessing yours was a one off ,,:confused:

    Tried ringing a couple of local stores (including Colchester) but all saying £379.99 :(

    Nothing round here at that price, my local Staples said that it was a weekend only offer on a clearance line.
