Help with wedding present - possible hamper?

Hello everyone
I'm absolutely desperate for some help!!!! My good friends are getting wed this week and as usual, I have left it to the very last minute to sort the present
I have already bought them a bottle of expensive champagne and just need something to go with it. I had intended to do a hamper but my DH thinks it's cheap and won't look expensive enough. He's not the most supportive of my hampers (need I say more?) and thinks we should just buy a nice box of 2 champagne glasses. The nicest ones I have seen were £25 for 2 in M&S, which are lovely but I was hoping to spend no more than £15 (champagne already cost £25) as money is *extremely* tight this month and £15 is all I can go to.
I've left it too late to order anything from t'internet (wedding is Thursday) so I'm basically asking for any help you can offer please?? They do have expensive taste and everything on their wedding list is £50+ I've have a look on the hamper thread and wondered if anyone had any other ideas to add into a basket?? Or if not, any other ideas to go alongside the bottle of champagne????

A box of nice chocolates, and put them in a gift box with tissue if the hamper idea's a no go.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Thanks SugarSpun, I said this to my DH and he said that's it isn't really an ideal wedding present - champagne and chocs. I can't see why not personally!!!:xmassmile:rudolf:0

Have you thought about a nice keepsake box? I made one for some good friends of ours a couple of weeks ago and they absolutely loved it. It was somewhere that they were able to put all the little things that they wanted to keep as keepsakes. If you are interested in one then Private Message me. xxx0

Do you have a John Lewis near you?
They have some nice champagne flutes that are in your budget
Or, how about putting the champagne in a wine cooler/ice bucket & wrapping it in cellophane?0
