I can't get the email to Santa to work. I put in all the details then get a photo of santa saying hello and my child's name. then it comes up saying error on page or is that all I should be seeing anyway.

I'm very sorry that you had problems sending your email to Santa and I promise that we'll do everything we can to make sure this works for you if you'll help us a bit.

What what was the error message on your computer screen after you hit the "Send Santa my letter!" button? If you tried to send another letter to Santa later did it work ok? Sometimes a candy cane gets stuck and Santa's computer hiccups but everything works fine after that.

If you haven't been able to send your letter to Santa and have him reply, would you send me an email (Head_Elf@EmailSantaDELETETHISPART.com) and let me know exactly what you typed in your letter? E.g. first name, gender, age, city, region, country, presents and comments (please do not include last names, phone numbers, street addresses etc.). If you would also let me know what browser and version you are using (e.g. Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 8, Firefox etc.) and what type of computer (e.g. Mac or PC) and operating system (e.g. Windows XP or Mac OS/X etc.) that would be very helpful.

I have used these sites for the last couple of years and they are great if you have young children. On 24th December they have a santa tracker (they all link to the same one) and you can see how far Santa is from your house which is great if you have young kids who are too excited to go to bed because by about 6pm it is starting to tell them they should be getting ready for bed and by 8pm it tells them they should be in bed by now then at 9pm it tells them they need to get to bed right away or Santa won't stop at your house. It updates every half hour I think. Worked a treat for my 3 and 5 year old who were in bed by 8pm which is unusual especially as they were really excited. Highly recommended for stressed out parents on Christmas Eve!

I have tried sending a letter lots of time and I do get a return message each time saying Merry Christmas and my child's name however the page is then full of red diagonal stripes and the message at the foot of the page reads error on page. I use Internet Explorer, Windows 98 PC. No wonder you are Head Elf with all your useful information. Merry Christmas!:D

Out of curiousity, are you using AOL? (Still trying to figure out what's causing the problem). I only ask because another person reported a similar prob and I noticed they used AOL.

Would you mind sending me an email at Head_Elf@EmailSanta.com and letting me know exactly what you typed in your letter? E.g. first name, gender, age, city, region, country, presents and comments (please do not include last names, phone numbers, street addresses etc.).

Do you happen to know what version of Internet Explorer you are using, because that would be very helpful too. (If not, on the toolbar at the top of your browser go to "Help" and "About Internet Explorer", assuming you aren't on AOL, and a window will appear that tells you which version you are using).
