Not read any of the thread, but why are you still here, jp?
You devoted a whole thread to yourself and your immediate retirement here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1138129
So could you now please go away?
Or stop posting pointless threads on how you're about to leave us all imminently? It clutters up the board and is of no interest to others, and has no relevance to house prices at all.0 -

Priceless carolt you put a thread on car sales, and any other piece of economic bad news daily. One post from me and its stop cluttering the board.
Not everything as to be played out for the hopeful home owner.
This is not an exclusive club and I am not abusing people (but people are abusing me)
PS any more abuse will be reported!

A clown for thinking that house prices will fall 30% but not wanting the economy to fall apart.
I am seriously worried for a lot of you.
P.S. The only reason I was leaving the board was the non stop picking for not agreeing with all the sheep on here!0 -
BBC this am - another building firm reporting massive financial losses and redundancies.
The rise in shares on international markets is more of a gasp of relief because the USA is not going into some sort of financial meltdown - which would probably have been the situation had the government not nationalised Fannie and Freddie.
Off to listen to the next episode of Peter Wimsey on BBC7. Bye :wave:0 -

Please do report any post in which I have 'abused' you! What nonsense.
If you genuinely believe a thread on car sales (an important economic barometer) is less relevant to house prices than a thread from you saying you are leaving in high dudgeon! then you need to rethink your priorities. I think you might find most people agree that threads on the economy = relevant. Threads on you = v v dull.0 -
the US Government just had to nationalise (sorry NDG) half the US mortgage industry!
The word used by Paulson the describe the 'de facto' nationalisation of FM and FM was 'Conservatorship'
According to my dictionary this word means...
1. A person in charge of maintaining or restoring valuable items such as a Museum or Library
2. Someone that conserves or preserves from injury, violation, or infraction
3. Someone that is responsible for the person and property of an Incompetent
Which one do you think fits this 'bailout' ??'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
