There's more details in the Free Giveaway CDs and DVD thread

Hi BD
Sadly the link doesn't "work" for me (and I'm guessing the majority of others) - I was just going to update the CD & DVD thread with what I believed was the correct order for this 80s CD Giveaway.
I did think it was rather "odd" that your link ends "page=34" when I know that there are at least TWICE as many in that thread.
I did end up in the right thread, however it was at post #661 - dated 02/12/2006
I'm guessing that you've changed your display options from the DEFAULT ?
I bet you have 40 posts per page ?
USER CP > OPTIONS & SETTINGS > Edit Options > Thread Display Options > Number of Posts to Show Per Page:
"Use Forum Default" (is 20 Posts Per Page - what most of us have I'm guessing)
"Show 40 Posts Per Page" (I bet is the option you've selected)
For me the link (to the most relevant last page) is >>>
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=101543&page=68
I'm guessing that even if I click on your link "page=34", MSE knows MY "posts per page " preference and takes me to (33 x 20) +1 = Post # 661 on Page 34, whereas you go to (33 x 40) + 1 = Post # 1321 (My PAGE 67)
Seems to me this is a bit of a "glitch" in MSE's link construction for this type of URL

Are you in training for going on the game show Jeopardy ?
(Where you're given the answer and have to predict the question)

Yep you are right quoia, I have changed it to 40 posts per page, I find it easier to read long threads that way.
I never thought about the link not working the way it should, it does on other sites, my fault I should have logged out and checked it or just posted the link to the first page and say the details are on the last.:o
Anyway Littlebill got the answer she was looking for.:DDon't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0
