How much trouble will I be in?

Firstly, I've only been on here a week and can not believe how great people on here are. Questions always answered and the odd private message which has made me feel I can actually do this.
This SHOULD be my last question (well until my BR date and then I'll start the mass panick re the OR interview:eek:)
Basically, on booking my court date, I knew I had no chance of finding the BR fees, plus I know i'm losing one car on HP and my other, which I may be able to keep, needed it's MOT. On top of that, although I've stopped paying the mortgage, there is a secured loan in joint names with my OH which we will keep paying. I had a credit card laying around with a £4000 limit. I got this in June 2007 and have never touched it. Now, knowing full well I am going BR, I have withdrawn £1200 in cash to cover these expenses:o
Is this likely to lead to a BRO (if that's the right term??) or any other punishment? Stupid of me and in honesty I feel guilty as hell taking the money knowing I can't pay it back, but I had run out of options

Done it now, so quit worrying about it.
The fees they tend to turn a blind eye to, but I cannot comment on the other stuff. Just be very honest and accountable for the money. A BRO/U is not the end of the world even if one is imposed, but you have to have done something really, really naughty to get one and this isn't that horrific in the great scheme of things.0 -
thank you for the reply. Can't help the worrying though:eek: I (like most people I suppose) just hate not knowing. On the plus side I haven't taken the mick and just maxed the card out, but I've still taken a fair bit knowing I'm not paying it back:o0

Technically, it could be "incurrning credit with no reasonable prospect of repayment", but most OR's tend to turn a blind eye if it's for fees0

i may be wrong with this , but......I reckon an awful lot of people have either recieved, or hoped to recieve, an nice financial bonus for the fact you have merely taken out a credit card.
then they kindly let you have 4k limit.........in the hope that you eventually lose the financial plot and end up paying the credit card company a whole shed-load of interest, thus boosting their already burgeoning profits.
being the cynical sort I am..they secretly hope your entire wage packet goes to meet your monthly payments......even better if they're minimum payments....as they get to knobble your pay packet for an awful lot longer.
so, once in a while things go sour for them....you can bet your boots such eventualities have been planned-for, and 'insurance' laid off to cover hiccups.......altough I think those hiccups are really coming home to roost for them.
their greed feeds off your percieved greed......[not suggesting you are greedy at all....but they like to capitalise on the possibility]
Again I may be wrong here...but bankruptcy is really the poor person's weapon of choice, and they , as yet, have no answer to it.
just desserts, eh?No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
Yeah i have heard many time that the OR's tend to turn a blind eye to this. I am guessing the main reason for this is that £349 of the BR fee goes to pay for them.
