.. start living again, things come out and get me.
1. Lloyds TSB have replied to my complaint about their persistent calls, by saying they need to contact me to make a payment arrangement. This despite the fact that they have received the first payment from CCCS by now.
2. DLC who are chasing me supposedly on behalf of EGG have written threatening a charging order on my house, even though I have written to them stating that I will only deal with Egg as have had no notice of assignment. Egg have had payment from CCCS too.
and then
3. A month or so ago the local authority sent me a demand for Council Tax for a propety i lived in as a temporary measure for 3 months. The demand was for 3 1/2 years! I rang them up and they said I needed an appointment, I asked for an appointment, there were none available so they told me to ring back in a few days. I did, and rang every day for 3 weeks, and could not get an appointment. Obviously nobody who lived in the dump after me bothered to register for CT and I am easy to find. Now they have sent me a liability order. I rang them and they said I had not responded to their demand so therefore I was liable. Long conversation etc. They say the best option is to either do a 'Statutory Declaration' that i didn't live in the property for that time, which will cost me, or wait until the summons arrives and go to court. Not sure that's really good advice really.
And to really put the icing on the cake, on Friday night went to bed, thought a tap had been left dripping, but no, water was pouring down a light fitting. Bed and carpet soaked. Spent hours moving bed out of the way and putting tarp and bucket down.
Can't see any obvious holes in roof, so may just be guttering. Can't get anyone out to look at it, all too busy.
Son was on nights on Friday, woke up on Saturday to find he'd left his mobile on the bus.
and I didn't win the lottery this week!
Just thought I'd have a moan really.

oops! I tried to avoid that pun.
No son didn't get his phone back. fortunately its insured but that's not the point. It's just all the hassle.
As for the water, we're not as bad as some parts of the country. Even though we live quite near the river, I think we might be safe with the Mersey.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

All these things always seem to come at the same time. Things can only get better now.
Hope you manage to get the water sorted. It can be a worrying thing especially when leaks go near to electricity.
I know what you mean about the hassle of the phone. It's also a worry that somebody has got hold of personal details. I'd be in panic if mine went missing as I have a few dodgy jokes on mine!!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
