Shocked!

Had an unexpected day off on Friday and decided to work out mine & OH's combined debt, using Snowball calculator. I was in for a big shock.
Firstly, I worked out that we are actually £40,000 in debt:eek: . I had no idea it was this high!! However the nicer part was then working out a plan and realising that the entire amount can be paid off in three years if we stick to the plan:j . In some ways the I'm shocked at the amount we owe but in others I'm shocked that it can be paid off so quickly, when I think of how long we have had some form of debt round our necks
. It's going to be a long and bumpy road so sure I will be back on here seeking support when the going gets tough but I know we can do it. Good Luck to anyone else in a similar situation.:T

I think the "true" situation for most of us was a similar shock....but it is that shock that pushes us into doing something about it.
