can anyone think of a craft use for old kid leather gloves?

Firstly - I have to say, if you don't want them, I would gladly take them off your hands as I work in textiles and could easily use soft leather in one of my pieces and it doesn't matter what state its in!

Secondly - If you cant to use the leather for crafty things, teddy bears paws are usually in soft suede or leather. You can also cut out 2 circles about 1 1/2" across. sew them together with thin leather thong or linen thread using an over stitch technique. Just before fastening off, fill the pouch with stones that have meanings such as tigers eye, carnelian, garnets etc and stitch up. Make a small hole near the top of the pouch. Thread a long length of thonging through the hole. Take a pony bead or similar and thread both ends of thong through it. Puch the bead down until it touches your pouch. Tie your thong in a knot and wear as an amulet. You can make them with lucky stones or stones with health properties etc Hope this helps

Hi Sam, I'm going to look at them again with a new approach but if I can't use them all I'll put them on freecycle, you'll see them offered because we live in the same area (we're not allowed to trade here)
