Where can I get some over the knee socks

Morning all

Can anybody help me find some kids over the knee socks for my daughter quickly. It's her 8th birthday party on Sunday and she has just this morning announced that she would like to wear some just like the ones her mum wore in the old days. I am looking for some of the bright stripy ones.

bought my daughter some fab ones in Primark !! excellent for a 2 year old being potty trained, but they went up in sizes. good luck !! I had striped and diamond ones.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I've been out this morning and tried numerous shops including matalan, next, tk max, mothercare, new look, peacocks and many more but didn't manage to find any. I'm going to send the other half to primark in his lunch hour. I had striped ones myself when I was about 13 or 14 and I thought I was the bees knees, I felt fab in them, so I have to get some for the little one and let her feel as great as I did.
