URGENT PLEASE HELP overnight spill on walnut veneer!

Long shot asking here, but don't know where to start! My husband is away for the weekend and I have managed to accidentally leave a leaking frozen bag (don't ask how, it's complicated and stupid) on top of a very expensive piece of furniture overnight. I discovered it this morning, and naturally enough, the veneer has bubbled up and looks awful. Apart from the obvious; i.e. that my husband will murder me, this thing is his pride and joy, a family heirloom, I haven't a clue what to do or who to call about it. Besides it's a Sunday morning! Is there anything I can do to minimize the damage immediately?

Oh God. i am here alternating between hysterics and tears.

I would try phoning an antiques restorer - they probably won't be open on a Sunday, but first thing tomorrow. Sorry I can't be of more help, hope you get it sorted!
