If you have a good solicitor and/or pay for indemnity insurance and go to a lender that uses AVMs (assuming you have a low LTV) then yes this should be easily echeiveable.

If you get your Offer Letter on Monday, you could complete by the end of next week if the Solicitors are already instructed and they know who your current mortgage is with.

The 1st Oct shouldn't be a problem even if you instruct the Solicitor on Monday, but let them know that you want to complete on the 1st.

Watch out for your current lenders interest charging method. If they charge you to the end of the month, then you want to complete on 30th Sep as you'd still be charged to the end of the month even if you completed on the 19th for example.

Some lenders also need a months notice or will charge you a months interest as a penalty. There's not many who do though.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.

the best they can do is a 6.24 fixed or 6.09 tracker - but my IFA can get me a fixed at 5.89 - but for ten years
