Would an "association" with my husband on my credit file, prevent me opening a current bank account with a bank that he(alone) has previously had a debt with? We have both successfully completed IVA's plus 1 year and both our credit files are clear. Mine is showing a good credit score. I also have a mobile phone contract.
I have had a basic account with my bank and have tried today to get a "proper account"and have been referred.....any ideas?
