Been reading some of the stardrops posts on here today, other half glued to football all afternoon so i am on line leaving him to entertain himself.
I have noticed a few posts that say you can use brown vinegar instead of white for your washing machine ( as the brown vinegar is only 19p a bottle this makes sence ) Just wanted to make sure this is the case and it will make no difference to which vinegar i put in the conditioner drawer ?????
And for all you that use the stardrops cleaning quantity of 1 part stardrops to 1 part water and 1 part vinegar, again does it have to be white vinegar i use for this cleaning mixture or can i use brown ??
Any advice would be great

I use brown vinegar in my washing machine, I have never had problem with stains or anything like that.
When I make the stardrops/vinegar/water spray I DO use white vinegar, this is because I use it on my carpet, or use it in places where some of the spray might speckle the floor, and people have said that brown vinegar might stain carpets. If you don't have carpets, don't plan to use it on your carpets or are less clumsy than me, you'll probably be okay with brown :rotfl: I think that is actually the ONLY time I use white vinegar, I use brown for every other cleaning job!0 -
Thanks for the advice
Brown vinegar is so much cheaper than white so thinking of the money saving element,
many thanks for the help
