Thank you kayleigh - looking at them now really brings back the day. There are loads of unstaged ones (some quite silly) that captured all the moments that you forget.

Those fish were OH's idea and were quite a bit of hassle but he wouldn't budge - I gave him 2 things to do deliver 5 invites and find fish - he delegated both jobs back to me!
The fish are still in the pond and a couple have reached a respectable 6 inches long and now swim round with the big ones rather than hiding and getting washed away as the big ones go past :rotfl:

    ps replied to your pm

  • Hi All,

Am new to this and came across Landy Bridal after a friend said her colleague at work used them. It's good to know that people have had good experiences and you can look a million dollars without breaking the bank! Our wedding is in July next year and we're looking at a £5000 budget. I'll look forward to reading all the money saving tips which will be really helpful!

Thank you - I saw your post on another thread about Landy and mine was a Landy dress which was absolutely gorgeous perfect fit and under £100.

The cake was made by a friend and was her present to us but don't think it cost that much for her to do as it was all sponge and she had the stand already. The me to you bears came from ebay for £5

  • Thankyou, the dress is fantastic for that money as well!!! very mse!!

im wondering if i can get my sister to attempt a simular cake set up for our big day

    thanks again x;)

  • The top was a normal round sponge cake with white icing on and the hearts were cut out of blue and lilac sugar paste with a cutter she had.

She iced the buns in the same icing and then stood 2 hearts upright on each with a blob of icing to hold them steady.

Sounds easy but I can only make flapjack :rotfl:. Luckily OH is cooking xmas dinner - I know why i married him :D
