Jamie's 18 too. I wonder about the stuff he could be smoking - he's heavily into rock & plays in a grunge band - but I've never smelled anything off him. As far as checking with Calais' parents, I know it sounds terrible but I haven't tried to contact them. I keep imagining them blaming me (probably right) and having to defend myself and hubby (no defence) and just making things worse. I'm such a coward and I can't even ask my mum for advice. Life sucks sometimes.

Oh bella -hope things are okay - I thought you said the neighbour wasn't working and in the texts it said she was 'on a break' although does it really matter who it is. I'm angry that he smashed up your mp3 player!!

jeez bella xxxx Thats kinda heavy and mad stuff, u need to talk for the sake of the kids and make sure what u decide aint just a kneejerk reaction, u might change your mind in a few days.

the action to take is to ring and just say hi i hope jamie is ok staying with you,because we had a disagrement and would you like some cash toward his food and lodge,
he may have said you kicked him out but you could say at same time hes can come back when hes ready,

and as for smoking wacky baccy 9out of 10 dont know what it smells like as the smell changes from each strain,

dont blame yourself or oh its not you,
he needs a bit of space lay off for a couple of days,
hes going to work so thats a plus,just send a txt
ie come home when you are ready love you loads mum and dad ,
and it may just work,

((((((((((hugs)))))))))) for toomanykids. If only each child came with a manual life as a mum would be soooo much easier! As Jamie is 18 I think it's perfectly reasonable for you to relax and leave him to fend for himself for the time being. it sounds like you've don't all you can.

I've just read back on this thread - thanks for all your kind good luck wishes this morning. Work was fine - there's a lot to take in but I'll soon pick it up. The staff are really friendly, helpful and patient towards my endless questions!

I'm totally shattered so I'm just chilling out and entering a few comps.
