Well the apple cake was yummy. I doubled the ingredients in the recipe so it took ages to bake. We had some hot with cream and ice cream. As is customary The Leader of the Opposition went back for seconds. She always takes a small portion first time round and then goes back for more. There are no surprises after 34 years of marriage. :rotfl: I just have the one huge portion.
It's little foibles like this that make her so endearing to me.
She's like that old pair of slippers that have moulded themselves to your feet. A bit frayed around the edges but oh so comfy and you couldn't bear to be without them.
We have a li'l old lady next door to us so I will take her a slice tomorrow. We like to keep an eye on her when really she's fitter than either of us. Im not allowed to use msn facebook and others, he asked me to delete 200+ fellas off my msn list when we got serious as he got a lil jealous xxx so i keep away as respect for him xxx lol.......i used to get my msn buddies to pick my outfits when i used to go out on the pull! xxx#JusticeForGrenfell0
