Hi all! No time for comping or chatting today - busy at work and out tonight - but wanted to let you all know I handed in my dissertation this afternoon! That's a whole day early! Woohoo!! No more masters course - yay! Now all I have to do is pass.

The Leader of the Opposition went scrumping this morning - with permission I hasten to add. She came home with a couple of carrier bags full of apples. So we spent this afternoon peeling and chopping and freezing.

Apart from some which I have used to build a scrumptious apple cake which is baking nicely right now and filling the house with wonderful apple cake smells. All the better 'cos the apples are free. Will have some later while it is still warm with whipped cream.

Gonna hunt for more apple recipes later and will go blackberrying tomorrow.

Tree is wicked! me and ds are nurturing it on windowsill till we can plant it out in spring, ive had alot of fun with ds with this win , i count as one of my best wins, because we will have this hopefully many years to nurture so i will always remember the comps board kipper gave me hopefully a lifelong gift xxx
