OOOOhhh, will definitely use the dollies & teddies idea!! Brilliant!! Oooh, oooh and the popping candy. If you have hours to spare I could let you know what we usually do for food and decorations.
ie Cow-pat cake (digestive biccies, chocolate, marg & raisins shaped like a cow pat and placed on green shredded tissue paper)
Frozen coloured hands (fruit juice with food-colouring & sweetie worms frozen into a cleaned marigold glove) in witches' brew (limeade etc)0 -

More food - I add food colouring to the milk to coat sausage rolls (orange & purple)
Hot dogs sticking out of finger rolls with a "nail" cut from the end and dipped in blue food colouring and tomato sauce round the edge of the roll.0 -

Brilliant - will do that as he gets totally stressed out that night!! He can have a kip with his ipod on and be part of the scene setting - excellent idea, he'll love it!!0 -
