I just logged into my first Direct account and had the message below waiting for me. On the basis that their creidt card is free and it toook literally 2 minutes to apply I have just ordered a card. Looking forward to my time away!! Unlike the normal offers there is no clause here about having to buy a rip off breakfast so unless that is cheap you can count that out (I am a money saver you know!!)

Take out one of the products listed below this week and you'll also receive a voucher for a free one night UK Weekend Break - that's one nights accommodation (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) for two people sharing a standard room, on a room only basis. The voucher can be used at over 120 hotels throughout the UK. Once you have opened your chosen product, we'll send you the confirmation of your free one night UK Weekend Break.

1. This offer is only available to customers who hold a first direct current account.
2. This offer is only available to first direct customers taking a new product, it is not available to customers converting from an existing product or who have closed the same product within the last 365 days.
3. This offer is only available to existing customers who purchase an eligible product between Monday 14th November and Friday 18th November 2005 (inclusive). Products taken out outside this campaign period will not be eligible for the offer.
4. One incentive per customer, per product, irrespective of the number of product applications completed. This offer is in addition to any other offers you may qualify for during the same period. Additional, product specific terms apply.
5. This offer is available to book from receipt of your notification until Sunday 30th April 2006 and is subject to customer status and accommodation availability. Free One Night UK Weekend Breaks are subject to promotional availability on a first come, first served basis.
6. We will be able to investigate complaints and queries up to 56 days after the valid date (25/06/2006). Once the 56 days have passed, we will not be able to provide any further investigations and the offer is deemed closed.
7. The offer is for a Free One Night UK Weekend Break - Friday, Saturday or Sunday night for two people sharing a standard room, on a room only basis. Any additional costs (meals, telephone calls, mini bar bills etc.) must be paid on departure.
8. Offer is available only when you have received confirmation from first direct and then made your booking.
9. This offer excludes all Bank Holiday weekends and there may be limited availability in school holiday periods.
10. In order to obtain your Free One Night UK Weekend Break, complete the booking request form online. All reservations must be made by Sunday 30th April 2006. All bookings must be made in advance of arrival at the hotel. On confirmation of the booking, the agent will send you a voucher for the requested hotel. If the hotel requested is unavailable the agent will contact you with alternative hotels within your chosen location or alternative dates.
11. To receive your 'Free One Night Weekend Break' please hand the voucher to the hotel reception upon arrival at the hotel. You may be asked for proof of identification upon arrival at the hotel to redeem the voucher.
12. Photocopied, tampered or defaced vouchers will not be accepted by the hotel.
13. There is no cash alternative for this offer.
14. The voucher is not for sale or resale, or redeemable for cash. Nominal value 0.001p
15. Additional persons travelling with you and your guest (eg, children) may be eligible for discounted accommodation. Please indicate if there are any additional persons when completing the booking request form.
16. All hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to arrival. Failure to do so may result in you being charged a cancellation charge. Contact the hotel directly for details of the cancellation charges.
17. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, participating hotels may be subject to change.
18. The Promoter, its agents and distributors are not responsible for the management of the hotels and will accept neither liability nor claims for disappointments or dispute in relation to management of the hotels. The Promoter makes no guarantee about any aspect of the quality or performance of the hotels.
19. Except in the case of fraud, the Promoter, its agents and distributors can not be held responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied (including information on the website).
