How much for being on call?
Comments

I work in IT and my employer pays £350/week for being on call plus £50 for each incident (whether it lasts 5 mins or 5 hours).
This is for remote support, so no onsite visits, but telephone assistance only.0 -
My OH works in IT and they do on call 1 week in 3/4 depending on how many staff there are (small company so it varies with people on holiday etc).
They don't get paid any more for doing it (although they are well paid already). And their partners, who are regularly disturbed by all the alerts through the night get fook all too. :mad:0
