Need a cheap undercounter fridge and freezer

Hi, I need an undercounter fridge and freezer for a one bed flat with a small kitchen, can any of you recommend some? I have found that I can get a tall fridge freezer for about £150 but to buy them seperate it's about £100 each. Also, do you think it would cost much more to run two seperate appliances?

Cheers.

Likewise earlier in the year we got MIL undercounter fridge from Coop electrical-I've been searching for receipt to check how much and think that it's with her-was also going to check make but when we researched Coop were cheapest for that make-remember quidco and you could select delivery day which was ideal for me organising work to be there when it arrived. For extra they will also take away old appliance but I think most of them will for now.

    Coop

Found it!! It was a Zanussi ZRT210 at £309-had it since Feb reliable and easy to access-4 good deep drawers in the freezer-we had a real limited space problem which was why we ended up with a more expensive one.

(However have looked today and not there now :( )

My friend got this make from B&Q when she got her fitted kitchen earlier in the year but I'm not sure how much she paid though. Sorry.

But on the plus side if you did get them from their and went in on I think it's Wednesday with someone over 60 you get 10% discount with their diamond card so might be worth a look.

Me on the other hand I got mine from Comet, a 500mm wide fridge and under counter freezer for around £200 for both. The make is Proline and the door skin on the fridge where the milk goes has cracked but apart from that it works fine.

Although they charge a small fortune for delivery, I didn't bother and got both in their shop packaging in the back of my car (mondeo) with the seats down no problem.

I'm upgrading in the next couple of weeks and if you lived near me you'd be more than welcome to have mine.

    Hope this helps.
  • I'm back again with the links to the fridge and freezer from the comet website.

    Fridge is £99.99

    http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/376191/PROLINE-PF120GWA?cm_sp=FeatureEnd-_-Search_Result-_-position1

    Freezer is £109.99

    http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/319503/PROLINE-PUF110W

    4% back from quidco.

Delivery is £19.95 but you can order online and collect at store if you know anyone with a decent sized car or a van and this of course is free.
