Need help/advice - MBNA threatening with court

I haven't posted on here for some time, I thought all was going OK with my DMP (with Payplan). I'm still getting letters from 2 creditors who seem to be unable to read my letters to them telling them (4 times each so far) that I'm dealing with Payplan but MBNA had, I thought, started accepting the payments. Other creditors who I owed more to have accepted the payments without question.
I had a letter from them this morning stating that if I don't clear my arrears and start paying the amount they want (which is about £25 per month more than they get through Payplan) they are going to take me to court
I don't know what to do now - I could, just, afford the extra £25 per month but as I'm on a DMP I'm not allowed to do that for just one creditor, am I?
Is there any way round this? I know I need to speak to Payplan but can't do a lot until Monday so would really appreciate any advice from anyone on here before that if possible.
Should I ask for a CCA now?

This is one of their bully boy tactics. Just stick to your guns and pay them through payplan. MBNA were one of my worst creditors and threatened me with various punishments, but that's all they were. They even sent a postcard telling me they would be calling and they never did, just another tactic. They sold it on to a DCA.
They probably will sell yours on eventually to a DCA and generally these are easier to deal with.
Just ignore them, contact payplan on Mon and get them to re-issue the paperwork to them regarding the DMP and don't reply to any of their letters or phonecalls, its unlikely they will take you to court as its too costly and they would only be awarded what you are paying them now, so it would be a pointless exercise.
JulesDebt at highest May 04 - £65,639.22 - Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 04 & now self managed DMPDebt now 20th December 2015 £31677.13 Paid Off to date £33962.09 - just not going quickly enough!
Debt free date July 2024! I don't think so, it'll be going quicker than that!!!

Thanks, I've now reread the letter after my initial panic and it says they *may* start court proceedings. I'm going to write to them to remind them I'm with Payplan anyway but not offer more money.
One of my other debts has gone to a DCA and they are so much easier to deal with!LBM: March 2008DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 1980 -
Stand your ground with them. Have to say MBNA are my biggest creditor and have been brilliant with me unlike my smallest creditors. Owe MBNA 10k but my smallest creditor £500 are threatening all sorts!
I responded to one of my creditors by saying that I am on a dmp with CCCS and I cannot afford to pay them any more as it would be treating my other creditors unfairly and I couldn't afford to increase my monthly repayments - so basically, like it or lump it. For some reason, it started their complaints process and I got a grovelly reply and have not heard from them since May when they wrote to say they would accept my dmp - only after 5 months!Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
