help with online application form

I have an application form to fill in the company sent me an email then attacted an attachment which is the application form .Firstly there are a few boxs which i have to tick yes no answers how do i do a tick on the computer ?
My second dilema is i dont know how to send the application im no good with computers . I know how to send emails (its just a matter of pressing send button) but when i have fininshed filling out the attachment which is the application form i cant see anything on the computer which says send .
Sorry i hope i have been clear on what i am asking .

If using word you will find a tick in the symbols menu (wingdings) you can then copy and paste it where you want it to go.
As for sending the form once completed when you have created your return e-mail look out for a paperclip which is the attachment symbol click on it and select the document you need to send.0 -

tHANKS SKIPPY sorry to be a pain i have completed the form now i have seen the paperclip thats what i clicked to fill it out but which button is it to return email ?

If you're using a Word document which has boxes in it to tick you might find that clicking in them places a tick for you - otherwise just put an X in it.
As for sending it, go to File > Send as Attachment and you can mail it from there. I would also advise saving a copy (hit F12 and select a place to save it).0 -

When you have finished the application form you need to save it onto your computer; the easiest place to find it will be in 'my documents'. Call it 'application form [your name] [employer name]'
Then, to send it, write an email with what you want in it, then click the paperclip, go into 'my documents' and click on the one entitled 'application form for...' that you just created. Then press send when you are happy with the text and that the file is showing on the email as being attached.0 -
