Calling all BM owners- HELP ME PLEASE!
I got a BM yesterday, Russell Hobbs Breadmaster from Argos which I think is great. I did a banana loaf last night that tasted fab and was going to do more tonight for the freezer.
All going great until about 5 minutes into the cake cyclewhen the kneading blade stopped turning. The machine is making a weird noise as if it is trying to turn the blade but cant.
I've tried repositioning the tin,starting the cycle again.Even started it without the tin in and could see that the drive isnt turning around.
Is it foreve rbroken? Its only a day old-BOO HOO.
Any suggestions besides returning it?????

nope - return it.
I find I have to reposition my tin sometimes (it seems to fit better one way round) and sometimes it's a bit noisier than others - wholemeal loaves mainly, but it always turns freely. Seems you've got a dud.

Try another batch and if it happens again add more liquid. My MR did this and made a horrid noise. Approx an eighth of a cup of water solved the problem.0
