Where does the OP state that this happened ?
Reference was addressed to the referee at the office address it seems so it WAS addressed to them. Of course the question MIGHT be how did the OP find out-was HE opening mail addressed to someone else ?yeah sure i believe that to be true
but she could be misleading the new employers and they might assume that she had actually worked for him the length of time
also it was addressed to the business too
With the lack of details given in this post by the OP I assumed that the person giving the reference had taken mail without permission, as there was no mention at this point that the letter had actually been addressed to the referee and not a manager/office/HR at the office. I've had mail arrive at my place of work for me before, this in itself is not a crime nor indication of poor character.Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0
