    Hi

try one of these charities for advice. It would be a lot better if your parents contacted the agencies themselves if they are able to do so.

They can help them claim any benefits to which they are entitled and will know if they can make back-claims.

  • Coldasfire I would also recommend you take the poll off your thread as people may not realise you need actual help and may just think its another poll and may not even look at your thread. Plus I don't think its a good idea for people to take a poll on which route you should take. We can only advise/help, not make a choice for you.

So your parents literally do not have ANY income? Look into this ASAP. Hopefully RAS's links above will help you but if not there is a benefits board on this forum so maybe it would be a good idea for you to post their circumstances on there to get more help.

    Good luck
  • I don't know how to take it out. I want to take this out as well. Can you tell me how to do it plz

    Hi there coldasfire,

I've tried to reply to your PM you sent me last week but got a message back saying you have chosen not to accept PM's!

Let me know if you can change your settings to accept them, or if you would prefer me to put the reply on the forum

    Cheers,
    CCCS
I am a Debt Counsellor that works for the CCCS and have specific permission from Martin, to post on these boards to try and help those in debt. Read more information on the CCCS and what it does in the Debt Problems: What to do and where to get help article.

CCCS is a registered charity, and there is no charge whatsoever for any of the services we provide to our clients. We take great pride in offering first class help and advice, but we only offer this where we have been able to fully explore and understand your circumstances with you. We want to help you understand these choices and their possible implications but not make them for you.

    Hi coldasfire

The thing is there there are ways to solve your problems but I doi not think that any of us would reccommend that you do any of the things in your poll. We would recomend talking to a debt charity but your situation is complicated by the parental sitautation and it may not be until that is resolved that you can make an informed decsion what you do.

There is however quite lot you can do to start reducing your spends, which you need to do whatever the outcome.

  • Hi CCCS,
I am sorry for that, I don't know how it happened and don't know how to change it.
If that's ok, can you kindly send me on my private email address. I hope that you can do that.

Hi you need to edit your profile to be able to accept PMs (private messages). Click on 'User CP' (near top of page) then click on 'Edit Options' (on left hand side) and click to enable PMs.

If you would like to send anyone a private message click on their user name and select send private message. You can read your PMs by clicking on Private Messages (again near top of page)

    Hope that makes sense.
