hi there people, i have been working in the uk for 1 year, and im leaving the country in two weeks, is there any chance still to claim my tax back? i worked 20 hours p/week.....what kind of documents i need? can you give any usefull website or past thread?
i forget to say that i have the p45 from my former employer.

When you leave your job, make sure you get a P45 from your employer. Then go to any HMRC office that has an enquiry centry and ask for a for P85 'Leaving the UK' form. Fill it in. Give it in with your P45. Make sure it has your new address in whaerever you are going to. The calculation will be sent there. A cheque for any refund due will also be sent. Will be in Uk£'s. Or if you have a UK bank account, put the name and address of the bank, your sort code, and account number, and any repayment will be sent there.

you might not get a refund if you are not uk resident and don't qualify for a personal allowance...
