have you tried it dan? do you know if they ask for a membership number or anything like that? what sort of insurance is it? could i get a quote for travel insurance, say?

I have just done this now with no probs at all!

You need to do a HOME INSURANCE QUOTE but it makes no difference just make the info up and no mention for a membership number at all....

Just try it out!!

Just googled it Jack. It does seem to cover Travel Insurance.

just spoke to a lovely chap, very helpful and friendly. i got a quote for home insurance. voucher will be with me within 2 weeks.

EDIT: by the way, he said you get another £20 voucher if you actually take out the insurance

you have to be part of a union for the quote and for the voucher not the general public.

didn't ask me anything about whether i was in the union or not, no membership number requested, nothing. i just followed mrwurzal's instructions and had no problems at all.

Did the exact thing but the lady on the phone asked what union I belonged too!?

They asked my occupation - I guessed engineer and he said good that is on my list! £10 voucher will be sent out £20 if you take out the policy. Thanks for posting
