Oil - Great news. Hope it lasts a few weeks to be seen at the forecourt/gas bills.
Isn't the currency shift a double-edge sword? Better for the wider economic factors, but counteracts some of the oil price movement, as its in Dollars?
Not a currency whizz. Quoting someone else!! Two can play at that game!0 -
Just pointing out you can make things look as you want them to look.
All that would support lower inflation.
But we seem to get a daily downer. I just thought i would perk you all up.:)0 -

Apparently it's not that easy. Because quiet should be spelled quite.justpurchased wrote: »
Back to your 'topics'. How do you view the following interpretations?
oil and commodities down = worldwide recession expected.
sterling up = interest cuts not coming as soon as expected.
If you try to think before you post, and preferably, don't post at all, it will save me a lot of time and trouble.
Please don't take this the wrong way.
It's meant to be offensive.0 -
I am paid in US$, that I then convert to £s. So I've been enjoying my free 10% pay rise.

Funny this thread as less replies than most saying the £ is down oil is up. I wonder why:rolleyes:0
