Good luck with the job hunting - I remember when I was just out of uni and it was an unsettling time so I'll be rooting for you!

. I'm really hoping that now I've got my foot in the door I'll at least be able to get more temp work now if I can't get a permanent job by the time the six weeks is up. I'm a bit scared about Monday but I guess there isn't really any reason why it won't be okay.
Anyway, to my spending... I've had no spend days since I last posted, until yesterday when I spent 50p on a drink. That won't kill me but I should start remebering to take a bottle of water places with me. Either way that means that I've only spent £7 of my £10 for the week, so the spare £3 will go in my money box. When I have a decent amount saved from my weekly underspends I'll put the money into my savings account. I'm hoping that I'll be able to keep most of my weekly £10 back whilst I'm working for the pensions company because I only get half an hour for lunch and it's out of town so there won't be anything to spend money on anyway. I used to work in the town centre which was awful because I'd always end up in somewhere like new look spending my money. I'll definately be making my own lunch to take in too...
Aside from that I have a small confession to make... I got an email from the temp agency about what I need to wear to the job on Monday, but have basically realised that I need to be smarter than I was in my last job, and so although I have a pencil skirt and some black trousers I didn't have any smart tops/a cardigan in reasonable condition which I can wear (I'm always cold, especially if I'm somewhere with air con). So I've had to spend nearly £50 on work clothes. It did actually make me quite sad... I didn't want to have to spend my money on something like that but didn't really have any choice. That said though, I've bought myself some new flat shoes to replace my old ones that were in such a state I really shouldn't have been wearing them.
I've got some small bits I'd like to sell, and my dad could do with some money from gettingrid of bits. I'd love to do a car boot sale but I don't really have the confidence. As the diary title suggests though I really do need to force myself into doing things I don't want to do. I'm so quiet it's awful.

Let us know how today went!
Car boots are great - I always go with my Nan who gives me the extra confidence to chat and 'haggle' with the buyers. Go along to an organised car boot and I'm sure you'll have a good time.Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck

Okay, so I've been bad and not really posted anything this week because I've been so tired. I managed to wake up at 2am four days in a row, then 3am the next day, so that twinned with the shock of having to keep normal working hours for the first time in ages has affected me a bit. Anyway, I'm here now
. The job is okay but very boring, and the system is rubbish as it keeps crashing. I'm working with three other people, two of whom have also graduated recently, and one who finished her second! degree a while back and is now training to be a lawyer (she's looking for a training contract at the moment). We all get along quite well which is good as at least we can chat when the system dies.
Last Sunday I called the car people, I found out that I would have to pay £3047.65 if I want to pay off my car early, but it will be less than that soon as another payment is due in a week. It is a bit more than I thought it was but there isn't much I can do about that. As things stand I should make about £1500 from the temp work I'm doing, plus the £1100 I have in my ISA, leaving me with a bit of a deficit. My plan is to get a virgin credit card which is 0% for 15 months, I want to try and get £1000 from that so I have a bit of money to live on. The account comes with cheques which you can write to yourself to get cash, there is a charge of 2.98% (so about £30 for the £1000 I'd need), but this would still save me over £400 in interest, so it's definately worth it. The only problem is that as I've only just started the new job there is no way I'll be given this card, which means I'm going to have to try and convince my dad to take one out in his name for me. The problem is he hates credit cards and has never in his life had one. I'm going to try and broach the subject tomorrow as I haven't had the energy to argue with him about it this week. Bah..
My spends have been good this week, kind of anyway. I only spend 80p on a newspaper so I could do the crossword when the system was down, and 90p today as I caved in and had chips for lunch. It would have been a really good week, but I went ot the doctor yesterday and was given three prescriptions at a cost of £21.30. For that reason I decided to spend £28 on a three month pre payment card, I'll get at least two things I have on repeat so in the long run I'll save at least £7. This leads me to the second thing. A while back I won an ipod nano from a Swiss news sitem, and today when I got home from work there was a customs charge note waiting on my desk for a bit over £15. I know that is nothing to pay for an ipod, but still, it would have been a nice win if there wasn't a charge attached. I was going to sell it to help with the debt as I don't really like ipods & I already have an mp3 player with a much better capacity, but my sister has taken a shine to it so she may end up getting it for her 21st.
On the plus side though, I've decided to sell £40 of my argos vouchers to my mum so that's another £40 off of the debt, and I got a payment of £23 from homepage friends earlier in the week. Also, I'm due another £10 voucher once my valued opinions points have been credited so I'll get an M&S one and sell that to my mum too. As if that isn't enough, I only need one more survey before I can withdraw £25 into my paypal account from lightspeed. I love survey sites... Oh, I almost forgot, I got a £10 amazon voucher too. I have £15 in amazon vouchers now so I'll probably use those to get my boyfriend a dvd as his last birthday present.

I haven't been up to that much recently, so haven't spent anything since Friday as I went to my friends house last night, and I'm staying at home today so I'll have another no spend day. I've been trying to shift the money for my car payment on the 27th from one account to another, but internet banking is being a pain so I'm having to send the money to my sister and get her to send it to me. That's what is irritating about working 9-5, you aren't around to do things that need to be done within certain hours (if I was I could have just paid it in at the bank).
I'm crying out to find a job I won't hate, but I'm struggling. Working in an office has made me realise that if I spend the rest of my life doing office work I'll probably go mad, and I'm struggling to keep 'normal' working hours because I'm such a poor sleeper. Wanting to go to bed all day isn't fun.
Anyway, on to happier things. I've joined the £1000 in 100 days challenge, hopefully this will give me a bit of a push to get the extra money to pay my car off. I've managed to sell another one of my argos vouchers to my sister, and I should be getting the money for the others in the next few days which will give me £50. I've also ordered an arcadia voucher from consumer pulse this morning which my sister is going to give me the money for when it arrives, so that's another £10 which is great. I should also get another voucher on IPSOS soon which I'll probably hoard and sell to one of my family when the opportunity arises. Oh, and I'll get paid on Friday. I haven't been paid for ages so I'll probably be pretty chirpy. As it's agency work I'll be getting paid weekly after that which is great.

Okay, time for a quick update....
I was a bit naughty yesterday and spent £4.90 on chinese, but I was really hungry and had been craving it for ages. A little splurge is alright for once, especially as my £10 a week runs from Friday to Friday, so I'll still probably be under the £10 like I (kind of) was last week.
I've been given £20 of the voucher money from my mum today, and I've also withdrawn £23 paypal from my lightspeed account. That added to the £7.75 I made on etsy today (that's after fees and postage) means I'm already at £50.75 for the £1000 in 100 days challenge. I know I have roughly another £40 to come at some point too so I'm ahead of the game at the moment. I'm hoping with christmas coming up I'll be selling more jewellery. I've been making some new stuff with the bits I ordered recently and am waiting to see my friend so I can ask him to photograph them nicely for me as he's a very good photographer. I've got a 50% off voucher for pizza hut so I'll probably pay him in pizza lol. Work is still deadly boring but I need the money so just have to grin and bear it.Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
