No I did mean to quote myself. I'm just wondering why you seem to go through patches of looking like you enjoy posting on the HP board and then you seem to have a hissy fit for no apparent reason.

Furthermore, if you start thinking all posters are !!!!!!? you really will start to drive yourself nuts.:D

Dithering Dad's post quoted in full (correct at time I am writing this, he may well edit or delete it later).

Who am I screaming at? I simply make a valid statement against one of the gang (in a calm and sane manner I might add) and I'm accused of being mental. Is it not the case, and really have a look deep inside, is it not the case that my "really interesting logical postings" are the ones that you agree with and the "mental screaming postings" are the ones where I stand up against the establishment/gang on here? Clearly not something you like and so you find it easy to dismiss/ridicule as I have stated before? The death of debate.

By the way, it's interesting that you joined recently, have a really low count and only ever pop up when I am having a 'discussion' with !!!!!!?

Come on !!!!!!?/carolt/posh*spice, this is getting really sad. Does it not tire you out loggin on and off all the time. How on earth do you manage to get any work done, or is it really the case as someone suggested on another thread that you are jobless and friendless and that the MSE Housing board is your only social outlet?

I see you are continuing your new trick of editing your posts after people have replied to them in order to look smarter.

What a bizarre pattern of behaviour you exhibit. Many of your posts are flat out nasty, personal baiting and after instigating a bile-ridden flamewar you then go back and delete the posts which caused it in the first place.

Now you are editing stuff after people respond to it, in order to put yourself in a better light.

People can draw their own conclusions as to your motives of participating in this forum. It certainly isn't to debate any of the subjects under discussion.

It's easier than you think. There is a Firefox add-on for busy posters which enables a stream of similar posts to be sent on a timed basis. You create multiple personalities with a number of key attributes - confrontational, intelligent, random, funny, etc. - and the add-on does the rest. It's enabled me to carry on a full time job, and still flood the board with inanities. I think its called AutoTroll2000 or similar.

--- Blah Blah--- It certainly isn't to debate any of the subjects under discussion.

As I said earlier, there isn't any debate allowed unless what you view as 'debate' is everyone agreeing with all your points, glad handing you and telling you how 'spot on you are'.

If anyone says anything against the 'gang' they get a crowd of you ganging up, just as I have right now.

People are drawing conclusions, but not the ones you hope. As I reported, people are saying that you have multiple logons and that you support and 'thank' yourself with them. People are also drawing conclusions that there are a lot of HPC bullies (who have taken over from the HPI bullies) who rage with almost religious fervour about house crashes and roll over anyone who says anything contrary to their views.

You're just a bully !!!!!!/Carolt/godonlyknowswhoelse and no amount of shouting me down, inuendo about post altering or accusations about not debating will change people's mind about that.

Do you really just want a forum that holds you and your cronies and sycophants, where all you do is agree with each other? What am I talking about - that's your idea of Nirvana!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

EDIT: (oh lord, DD is editing posts again, the horror!) I will do now as I have started on other threads where you and your cronies attack me. I'll defend myself to a certain degree and then go elsewhere. It's a well known !!!!!!? & carolt tactic to drag people into personal arguments to divert them away from the original discussion, to try and muddy the water. I'll not fall into your sad little game and will just move along.

Enjoy some back patting with carolt & posh*spice, while I'm gone. Perhaps you could even 'thank' each other a bit? :rotfl:

To be fair, you could ask that question of any of the more prolific posters here :o

The internet is a godsend for anyone working mostly at a desk. I just wish the MSE page wasn't as LOUD with all the colours and animated icons when you are composing a post :rotfl:

Still, it must boost your ego when you 'win' these debates all the time, and then have a nice round of 'thank button pressing'. lol.

Talking about 'thank button pressing' here's another piece of the 'Dithering Dad jigsaw' with respect to your pattern of behaviour:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=5215443#post5215443

Dithering Dad's "Thanks" World Record Attempt I thought I'd do a World Record attempt for the largest number of "Thanks" for a single post (this one). It's all for charidy folks.

If you'd like to support me in this tough challenge, why simply click on the "Thanks" button at the bottom of this post. All "Thanks" gratefully received!!

(yes, it is a slow day in payroll today)

You come on to various MSE forums and kick off slanging matches (you have done this in a number of forums, not just this particular one).
You come back and delete posts which put you in a bad light, later.
You edit posts after people have replied to them to make you look smarter.
You start threads to elicit 'thanks' to increase your count.

Absolutely bloody bizzare in my opinion.

I do agree that you sometimes you make some quite good posts and on those occasions I only see other posters respond in a positive manner to your posts. But then suddenly - for no apparent reason you get abusive?

I have no idea why this happens maybe you can enlighten us?

I was going to just leave this thread as I don't see the point in getting involved in another of !!!!!!?'s little spats (even with the provocation above, I mean how sad is it to root around in someone's past posts and drag something from, what, 12 months ago. Kinda stalking behaviour I guess?). Bit odd that he chose a thread where I wa having a bit of fun with my DFW mates - I guess !!!!!! doesn't understand the concept of 'Fun' and so reads something more sinister into it, I've noticed he's really not a humourous guy and does not seem to have much fun going on in his life)

Here is another fun thread that I created in the DFW board: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=429705&highlight=The+last+post%28er%29

Perhaps !!!!!!? with his lack of humour can find something sinister in that?

What is really concerning about !!!!!!'s behaviour is that he trawled about in my past posts to find stuff. That post was made over a year ago and so I suspect that !!!!!! has been doing extensive research into me. Does this strike anyone else as really disturbing? Does !!!!!!? hate me so much that he's 'gaining knowledge' on me in order to use anything I say against me - I find it very odd that someone can have a disagreement with you on an anonymous internet forum and start to hate you this way. It smacks of some sort of personality disorder and I for one feel that !!!!!! needs to seek professional advice on this. You shouldn't 'hate' this way, especially not people you don't even know.

Anyway, back to the reason I responded. Posh, you seem to love throwing your 'abusive' and 'mad' and 'insane' accusations around, but whenever I ask you "What abusive posts", you ignore me.

So, what abusive posts have I made today, or yesterday that has caused you to post these remarks in this thread?
