HI YA EVERYONE IM SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED:j :j :j :beer: :beer: :beer: WEVE JUST BOOKED OUR WEDDING CEREMONY AT THE REGISTRY OFFICE FOR EXACTLY 12 MONTHS TODAY AT 2PM , IT FEELS REALL NOW AND THAT WERE DOING THINGS FOR OUR ACTUAL WEDDING IM SOO PLEASED WE GOT THE TIME AND DATE WE WANTED , XXXXXXXXXXXX 365 DAYS AS MY OH HAS JUST SAID OH MY GOD ITS GOING TO FLY OVER ISNT IT :eek: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! :beer: Do you have anything else booked and your theme/colours chosen already?

I'm hoping to book ceremony and reception in the next couple of weeks, but OH is working long hours, so haven't had a chance to see the venues yet.

yeh i have a few things sorted my dress is orderd got veil shoes and tiara and jewlery , catering is being done by mil also cake by mil got loads of things like ribbons and organza for favours , candles for tables , our colour scheme is orange but bridesmaids is in black with orange sashes as my dress has black flowers stitched on and our flowers are orange tiger lillies already done and stored away as they are silk there is a pic on here somewhere of them as ive done them myself the reception will be ivory and orange as i didnt want it to look too dark with the black so we`ll have just small bits of black in the room but mostly ivory and orange , were going to look at venues tomorrow as we only want a cheap function room ie in a pub or workingmens pub with a cheap bar it shouldnt be too hard to find one , cars are being supplied by oh`s work ( bmw) we`ll have the newest model that comes out , photographer have someone in mind that takes photos and puts all them on a cd for us to choose , xx only bm dresses to find but with 7 ages ranging from 8 to 39 aint going to be easy

We're going to go to the registrar soon to get our licence...I can't wait! Ours is a year tomorrow too, the weather had better be nicer than it is now!! x

i cant get over how organised you are!! i thought i was organised!! :rolleyes:

OH reminded me yesterday that it was a year to our wedding - i cant belive its 364 days now!! eek!! but im only have a tiny ceremony and meal, and everyone else is coming to the evening do, so i dont have much to plan, but i still have 'overwhelmed' moments - ive been watching those bridezilla programs and i honestly dont know how they dont have nervous breakdowns, spending weeks deciding which flowers to use!! :eek:

but im rambling now - congrats again!!

in my head im very organised as we know how we want everything to look but i must admit a lot of our planning and organisation is down to having a very helpfull in law family as i dont have much family myself and ones i do have is 200 mile away , as brother in law no1 doing videoing ( but cant ask him yet as sil has lost the camera so got to wait till she finds it lol) BIL NO2driving our wedding car BIL NO3 best man BIL NO4 is doing some extra photos MIL DOING CAKE + CATERING , as i only have 1bro+sis my bro is giving me away and being my bridesmaid and organising my family so they can travel and get to the wedding xx im very lucky but i did ask them all on both sides of family if they would help us with the planning xx
