Looking in a bit more detail this is a rant, which is OK, we all need them.
The post has facts missing that are on the SOA add in the £20k secured loan and the £700pm deficit in payments the OP is just unrealistic to expect to be lent any more money by anyone, they have been borrowing to pay the mortgage.
Not 100% sure the 6+years DMP is the best option an IVA(5y) or bankrupsy(1y+IPO) are options that could clear the debt much sooner at lower overall cost/pain and not have the risks associated with a DMP(lenders can add interest/costs at any time).
I think the OP should get some expert advice.0 -
from an outsiders point of view, i cant see why the lender would expose themselves to sooo much risk. seriously.
