Lee Longlands Massive Furniture Sell Off 6 & 7 September

Options
Not sure if this should be posted on the grabbit board or here - feel free to move it.

I noticed a huge 4 page ad in my local free newspaper yesterday advertising Lee Longlands' £3 million disposal sale (getting rid of last season's stock). Massive bargains to be had e.g.

A leather 3 seater sofa RRP £1285 now £89 to clear
A leather reclining chair RRP £899 now £59 to clear
A Vi Spring 5' mattress RRP £1125 now £127 to clear
Duresta 3 st Waldorf Sofa cream fabric RRP £2366 now £248
Wenge Extending Square Dining Table RRP £999 now £87

Prices slashed on absolutely everything.

Sale takes place tomorrow and Sunday when the store is open 10am-6 on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. Lee Longlands is on Broad Street past the Hyatt, towards Five Ways.

The ad also states "No Reasonable Offer Refused"

Hope this helps any MSEs who need some new furniture.

  • Had no end of problems with these lot..

The furniture may be decent, but their customer service certainly isn't. Items delivered damaged on Saturday, and because they have been in storage, it's only been today that I've inspected them, and one of them is quite badly damaged. Sales guy saying we could have 'dragged it around' for the past 2 days for all he knows. So be warned all... please inspect all items vigorously before you accept delivery.

I think you might have been unlucky, my parents and a fam friend have had furniture from them and they've been excellent. The delivery men laid down sheets on the carpet, moved out our old furniture and cleared up after for us. Had a bit of a problem getting them delivered but the staff were really helpful! You have to be careful when accepting any delivery...
