Xmas present -playstation

Hello all,

Xmas is coming and the OH would like a playstation! I live in Manchester and was wondering where would be the best place to buy one? He doesnt mind a second hand one, so long as i compensate with a couple of games. Any ideas?

Might be worth checking if you have a GameStation store nearby. They do both used and new games & consoles.

Yeah, i have a GAME store nearby, just thought that one of the big stores this xmas might be selling the playstation (not the small palm thingy .....is that a PS2?)

The small one is the PS2 slimiline.

there is the playstation 1, playstation 2 and psp (handheld one). gamestation and game are 2 different stores, better off in the first one if you have one. Also as its coming up to xmas a lot of people like to sell theres to get the latest ones so local adds in papers are a good buy. with the xbox 360 coming out you will see alot of cheap xbox's also.
