Cooking Whole Plaice?

I hope you can help. DH (bless him!) has bought a couple of whole plaice from Tesco because they were on offer. Unfortunately, the fishmonger was at lunch (!) so there was a butcher on the fish counter and apparently he can't skin or fillet or do anything else with a fish apart from put it in a bag, so I have got 2 whole fish that I am not too sure what to do with.

The only recipes I can find are for plaice fillets and I don't fancy trying to fillet them myself, especially with a very pesky kitten around the kitchen! So, does anybody have some ideas for cooking whole plaice?

cheers
