Going to Meadowhall this afternoon after work, trying to spend as little as possible, but it's getting cold and my mum refuses to put the heating on until october at a push so I need some chunky knit cardies and slipper socks! But I suppose £20 on warm wooly things is better than a high heating bill!0

MOrning all.
Today should just be the usual Friday Bread and Milk (the one I bought last friday had gone off last night) and possibley friday night drinks out £5/10

Unfortunately it wont be a NSD for me today.
however its all for a good reason.
Im going to see The Dark Knight at the IMAX tonight (tickets allready paid for) and to Pizza Express for dinner (£20 voucher!).
So i might need to add £ to the voucher for dinner. But that should be it.
im hoping for no-more than £10.Debt: just my mortgage0 -
Good morning Mickey, and everyone :hello: :hello: :hello:
Am staying at home this morning, as I am still waiting for that 'dreaded' phone call.
However, I will have to go out this afternoon, to collect my youngest daughter as she is coming down, for the weekend, to see her aunty and cousins. In order for her to 'save' on train fare, she has got a lift as far as 'Walsall' and I will meet her at the Morisson's car park (my motorway service stop  ) so will, probably spend £30.00 on petrol, which will almost totally negate any savings that my daughter will have made on her train fare.:silenced: :silenced:
Still - as my wife has just told me - what are parents for?
So, as I contemplate the logic - MSE or otherwise - in their agreed solution, I will kindly allow my daughter to pay for the coffees in Morisson's cafeteria.
Have a great day, everyone  :wave:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Good luck Rog.
I know that some of you have had bad weather but here it's been gorgeous. Sunny, dry but windy and a bit nippy. I was at a meeting today where lunch was provided and there was some lovely homemade shortbread for the break. And for a change it was an interesting meeting so all in all a good day and a NSD for me - 3rd one this week.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323
