  • Erm, a bit :)

£200 on the Credit card bill
£2.95 on cat nip spray and lost it in town! :( (fell out of the bag)
£1.00 on a multi seed loaf
£2.95 in Market shop (Cheapy place selling bashed up boxs of food that you won't see in the supermarkets)
    £1.86 on Cat toys
    and

£1.30 on the bus ticket home :)

Good day I think ;) - just need some milk later when I pick up my car from repair and refill the petrol tank...

Ooooh XLT Hunter - I like your signature :0)
  • Well being a tuesday i'll be spending 95p on a tv magazine. Have a "coffee-meeting" with a colleague later so have to find a way to avoid buying an overpriced drink (you can't drink your own at this cafe).

Looking at my spreadsheet today - all my debt repayments go out on the 5th of the month and the interest shows up around the 26th. No wonder the months feel like they are oozing past - time goes much faster when you're not checking balances etc most days.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

So far...nowt. Possibly 50p later on fruit, possibly not if office errand boy doesn't come back to the office and do the lunch run.

Last night I did my weekly food shop and spent......wait for it......59p!!!!!!

I had vouchers for £6.50 and bought lots of reduced things and only had to hane over 59p in cash! Feel VEEEEEERY smug!

I spent 60p today on salad, didn't make it to the haberdashery yesterday, but the call is getting stronger (ton-de-laaaa ton-de-laaaaa!) Bought some goodies last night in tesco, pancetta, leek, celery, butternut squash. Made risotto last night (+lunch today) same ingredients for soup tonight and use leftover pancetta to wrap around chicken breasts on friday. Must make up for that weekend spend!

Skintchick, can you tell me a little more about these vouchers .. where do you get them from, where do you spend them, and do they still let you put money off coupons towards your total shop even if you haven't bought the item in question? They used to do it in Kwiksave, years ago.

Ms London :D ! you let your eye wander over to the ebay board for a week and suddenly momentous events occur! you haven't succumbed to James240's inviting signature now have you???? Good luck on the next date, I warned you that a Mr London might crop up and ruin your travel plans!

Well, you're doing really well, so keep up the excellent work. It doesnt take anytime at all to run up debt, but forever to pay it off. But it will be March before you know it.!! xx

It was just Clubcard vouchers - I have a Tesco cc and use it for everything including Tesco petrol so I've racked up points. I KNOW they are worth more if you use them for the days out etc but I don't want days out, I want cheap shopping!

I don't use money off coupons unless I am buying the item in question cos I feel dishonest otherwise, but that's just me.

The best thing is I still have £2 of vouchers left to spend next week. :D

  • Must admit, you have to think - where did the £2k go!??!? At least I have something to show for it other than my friend who had a loan for 4k and nothing to show. Really when in a new home you need everything ;) Microwave was one, then the back garden needed sorting :) and then the PC + all of the other bits and bods for the house to make it a home.
