It is difficult, I know. :embarasse

All these companies are owned by the same people and they don't go out of their way to make that clear. This is what we call a monopoly. Monopolies are generally conspiracies against the interests of the consumer. They may pretend to keep prices low but historically, they act to maintain prices at higher levels than they would be if there was genuine competition. Snce this website is in existence to be on the side of the consumer, I thought the information would be interresting and relevant.

I hope that was of help.

I'm thinking of making a purchase from them, have you had any experience?

I have bought things from each of SVP, Boffer and Bigpockets and have been generally pleased with delivery and service. I would be happy to buy from them in the future.

but I would rather be aware that they are not in competition with each other, than to be ignorant of the fact; just as I am happier to be aware that there have been posters on this forum who have received gratuities or payment from the proprietors in return for promoting their goods and services.

Yes it was, but Bigpockets do have some laptops (which is what I'm after) cheaper than other retailers.
